Part Time Instructional Assistant

                                                                                                           

Please be advised that there is a position open for a part time Instructional Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of postsecondary study or an associate’s (or higher) degree or a passing score on a state or local academic assessment test.
• Ability to keep detailed records.
• Ability to implement specially designed testing and instruction under the direction of the teacher.
• Experience with students with special needs, particularly those with challenging behaviors.
• Experience working with children in a group setting, prefer experience as an instructional assistant.
• Ability to work with small groups and individual students, utilize computer technology, guide independent study, enrichment and remedial work.
• Work under the supervision of the classroom teacher. Able to provide good supervision for students.
