English Language (EL) Coordinator

 

                       

 

Rogue River School District is looking for an English Language (EL) Coordinator.

 

Requirements: EL endorsement

 

Hours: .1 FTE; weekly hours will vary based on time of year. Average time expected will be ½ day to 1 day per week. 

 

Salary: see salary schedule of licensed collective bargaining agreement

 

Expectations: working under the direction of the director of special programs, the EL coordinator’s main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ELPA screeners
• Conducting ELPA state testing in the spring
• Maintaining/updating EL records
• Maintaining/updating EL handbook
• Collaborating with classroom teachers on EL supports
• Possibly providing EL supports to students
